I have swum for years. I first fell in love with swimming in my own back yard. I remember swimming in the pool for hours with my older sister and brother and the local neighbourhood kids. Stopping only for something to eat and from the calling out of my Mum to get out of the pool before our skin became dry, itchy and flaky from the allergies I had from the chlorine, often it was way too late!
