Should I Be Running? Am I Fit Enough to Start Exercise?


With regards to whether or not you are healthy enough to take up running as an activity, the simple answer is yes. Probably. Although, increasingly, the trend is to assume you might not be. Before anybody starts any exercise program or takes up any vigorous sport they should get a thorough checkup from their GP. Or at least that's the theory in a world gripped by rear-end covering advice from health and safety overkill.
