One of the best ways to stay in shape and have fun doing it is to run around your town or city. When you're running you get to see places that you would never see while driving, you'll meet fellow runners on the way and maybe make some new friends, and you'll be exercising and burning off some of those precious calories. But all of that running, jogging, and walking is going to waste if you aren't keeping track of your progress using a pedometer watch.
