Electric bicycles has been around for more than a decade, and countries such as China and Japan were quick to embrace it, but Western markets were a little slower to pick up on the idea. It wasn't long until these eco friendly bikes come out as a popular trend in many European nations, though, and now the market is picking up steam in the United States as well.
