Swimming is one of my favourite activities. Not only is it suitable for all ages, it's also good fun and exercises most of the major muscles. It's also a fantastic way to cool down on a hot day and it's practically free if you live near a beach. Swimming in a public swimming pool is relatively inexpensive and can be a great way to lose weight and strengthen and tone your body without spending hours at the gym.
