The best thing about running is that you can run with any attire possible from plain to sleeveless shirts, jogging pants to bicycle shorts, and a pair of socks. Of course, jockstraps or sports bras are a must. But the best running apparel is usually the ones that have moisture control properties. Avoid using cotton shirts as they can give you that wet rag look as you complete 5 kilometers. Wear polyester shirts and nylon pants or any other branded fabric that keeps moisture away from your body. And wear polyester as socks as it is good for your feet so you can avoid blisters. They are a bit expensive but the comfort is your best investment.
